Everyday Miracles::Reveal Your Mystery

Oldparkbench I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints... Ephesians 1:17-18

If you look carefully at the picture to the left you will see that this old park bench was made by Miracle Manufacturing. As Christians we know someone who is involved in the business of manufacturing miracles.
Everyday we are surrounded by miracles, those times where God arises and inserts Himself into our world on our behalf and something happens - a door opens, a problem is solved, a need met or a sign given. Part of the problem is that we don't always recognize them and we think that we brought them to pass in our own power. What a delusion. Let's call them for what they are. God's miracles.

Oh God, arise and show yourself strong on behalf of your people.

Faith Comes By Hearing::You Reached Out And Touched Us

Hearing Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.
Romans 10:17

Then he touched their eyes and said, "According to your faith will it be done to you" Matthew 9:29

He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 17:20

It's time to pump ourselves full of the word of God. The biggest problem we suffer from is unbelief. We just don't believe that God has anything for us. We don't believe that He will follow through on His plan for us. And we hang our heads low and think that there is no help. God is calling! God is calling! The invitations are out. It's time to believe! He will do exceedingly beyond what we expect. You can come to Him.

Now Is The Time::Nothing Is Impossible With God

Time Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21

Moses raised his hand and the Lord drove the sea back. The Israelites walked across on dry land.

Now is the time for Christians to step out of their comfort zones. It is time to walk by faith and not by sight.

He is able to exceedingly beyond what we can conceive.  He says that it is not our battle but His battle.

Hold On To What You Have::Don't Shrink Back

Pillar I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. Revelation 3:11-13

So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For in just a very little while, "He who is coming will come and will not delay. But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him." But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved. Hebrews 10:35-39

Here's a choice...be a pillar or shrink back from the gospel and be destroyed.  Hmmmm?

Show Us Your Plan::There Is No Other Way

Plan We want your kingdom in us. We want you to lead us. You know exactly what each one of us needs. You are the one intimately acquainted with us. Thank you that you include us in your great plan. That you will never leave us or forsake us. When we are dry and discouraged, we know you are always there.

Show us your ways oh God! You are a lamp unto our feet.

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. Ephesians 1:17

So church, lets keep asking. Keep moving, Keep doing. Lets get in on His plan.

We Want To See Your Glory::Draw Us To That City

Dawn Lord God, we are here because you called us. And we want to see your glory. We say yes to all that you have planned for us.

The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you. Genesis 12:1

Lord, give us the strength to do that, to pack up all that we have and go to that place that you intend for us. To that place where we are in your perfect will. To that place which sets your plan for us in motion. And we get to see your glory in action.

Victory And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.  Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered." No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 8:28-39

Rooted and Grounded::We Shall Not Be Moved

Roots I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,  so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

OH LORD GOD, THAT YOUR CHURCH WOULD BE ROOTED AND GROUNDED IN THE FULLNESS OF GOD!

Where Is The Hope Of Our Calling::It's You

Phone_booth Now this is an appropriate picture. A lot of times, God is calling and nobody is listening.

Lord God, open the eyes of your people. Help them to understand that we cannot stand still. Help them to understand that we must continually move forward in your calling.

Open our eyes Lord to see and to catch your vision. We should be lined up to hear from you.

Your disciples slept and you asked if they could pray with you for just one hour. Many today aren't just sleeping, they don't even bother to come.

Lord we ask that your people would catch the vision. Its time to go Your way and not our own way.

The Report of the Lord::Be A Joshua or A Caleb

Barbed_wire Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, "We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it." But the men who had gone up with him said, "We can't attack those people; they are stronger than we are." And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, "The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size. We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them." Numbers 13:30-33

Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had explored the land, tore their clothes and said to the entire Israelite assembly, "The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good. If the LORD is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. Only do not rebel against the LORD. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will swallow them up. Their protection is gone, but the LORD is with us. Do not be afraid of them." Numbers 14:6-9

It's a faith issue, believing the report of the Lord. For two of the spies into the land, God's plan and purpose for the nation was a gift of provision. Joshua and Caleb were ready to take what the Lord was willing to give. The others saw only obstacles. To them the report of the Lord was barbed wire, making His promise not only unobtainable, but not worth the risk of personal injury.

God wants to take you to a new place. Will you fear the obstacles instead of the Lord? Will you believe the report of the Lord? Will you be a Joshua, a Caleb?
